Scenario 1: William is explaining the deal status of a project
William: We’re a little behind schedule, but hopefully we’ll have enough time to get things back on track by the end of this week. I still think we’re making good progress. Anthony: Well, there haven’t been any other problems so far and yes, I’d say the project is going according to plan overall, so let’s just hope the issue can be resolved by then. William: I’ll keep you posted.
Scenario 2: Gina is explaining the key milestones for a project
Gina: Okay everyone, let me give you a quick rundown of the key milestones for the next 3 months. We should be finished with phase 2 by the 31st of this month and after that we could be looking at a tough implementation phase moving into the Spring, so April 3rd, 4th, and 5th will be crucial completion dates. Are there any questions so far? Ryan: I have a question regarding phase 2. Are we still in need of help with the UI? Gina: Thanks for asking. No, we’ve already got that covered. However, we’ve run into some problems with the payment processor. Would you kindly look into it for us? It shouldn’t be a major problem.
Scenario 3: Simon is explaining his expectations for a deal
Simon: All things going well, we should be looking to close the deal by the end of August. I’ve explained the benefits of going with the complete package including full after sales service for five years. So, everything seems to be on track. Alexander: Sorry to interrupt, did you get their feedback on the workflow question William had for them in the last meeting? Simon: Thanks for bringing that up Alexander, I almost forgot. Ito-san has already confirmed that we’ll definitely be able to cover that.
