Hey guys! So there is a website called Skell you can find here

    https://skell.sketchengine.eu/#home?lang=en

This one is super useful. When you learn a new word, we should try to find out which other words it connects to.
So for example, I learned the verb ‘conduct’ in my class.

But how do I use it?
    Conduct to.. ?!
    Conduct for -ing?!
    Can I conduct a meeting?!
    – Have no idea yet!
    Type ‘conduct’ into Skell
    Select ‘word sketch’

Note: Some words in English have a noun/adjective/verb forms so select the one you want on the top-left.

This will show you all the words that are most commonly used with ‘conduct’
    we can see

    object of conduct
    1. study: study conducted / (to conduct a study)
    2. research research conducted / (to conduct research)
    3. survey survey conducted / (to conduct a survey)
    4. investigation conduct an investigation
    5. interview interview conducted / (to conduct an interview)

We can also look at the example sentences

Note: the only downside (disadvantage) of this site is that it’s not a business site and the examples are taken from a university database, therefore, some of the examples are quite academic or scientific.

    I hope that helps!
