A) Making positive statements
- We’re making good progress
- We should be finished with phase 2 by the 31st of this month
- All things going well, we should be looking to close the deal by the end of August.
- Everything seems to be on track.
- The project is on schedule, and I’m currently preparing for the next phase.
- We’re making good progress with the negotiations now
- The project is going according to plan and we’ve just received some extra financial support from upper management
- Everything’s on track regarding the planned management reshuffle.
- It looks like we’ll be about three weeks ahead of schedule which is fantastic.
B) Making negative statements
- We’re a little behind schedule, but hopefully we’ll have enough time.
- The project is moving slowly and I’m not sure if we’ll meet next month’s deadline.
- We’ve run into some problems with the payment processor.
- We have one major problem concerning the testing equipment. The shipment has been held up.
- There’s still one minor issue we’ll have to get out of the way before we meet the deadline
- We could be looking at a tough implementation phase moving into the Spring
